Play the intro on the first 3 strings leaving the 4th D open, do not strum the 5th or 6th string until the full G at the end of the run

Start from the 11th D fret and work all the way down playing these 3 string chords with 4 D open using 3 fingered versions of the 1st and 2nd chords shapes. I have indicated the frets in brackets()

D (10)// A(10)// G(8)//C 8)// F (6)//Bb(6)//F (6)/// finish run on full 6string  G (3) chord ///

(The Moody Blues intro to Question is very similar.)

Then busk the tune on the D, G and A scales.
 It is a very simple tune to play actually.</description>
