Guitar Heroes

IMHO these are the greatest guitarists - the guitarists that I've listened to and tried to emulate their playing over many years. Some of them are the recognized masters, some are less well known - all of them have a unique and distinctive sound. The links are mostly to the artists official home page. When I find good pages with a guitar emphasis I'll add those too.

Naturally this is a work in progress - as I get to know other great players I'll add links to them. If any of the links are broken please let me know.
